The Selous and Ruaha combination works for a lot of different reasons and a lot of different people. This is real wilderness, away from the beaten path. The rivers, lakes and forests of the Selous versus the sand rivers, rocks and baobabs of Ruaha. Hippos, crocodiles and wild dogs, elephants, lions and leopards. Sand Rivers nestles in the forest on a huge bend of the Rufiji River, while Ikuka sits atop the Mwagusi escarpment looking out across the Ruaha valley. Finish on your own private island, why not!
