Matembezi Camping
Matembezi offers the original safari adventure. Camping, on the move, in the bush. Camps can be booked exclusively and move several times in one safari. Choose between a very lightweight outfit with a small staff or a more luxury set up. A fantastic option for those seeking the flexibility of a private camp and a light-footed, submersive wilderness experience. Mostly operating across the Serengeti and the northern circuit of Tanzania.
The wilderness camp uses small dome tents with stretcher type beds. Shared bucket showers and toilet. A staff of three will look after you with a small communal area for dining. This camp is lightweight enough to move frequently in one safari.
The classic camp is a more substantial and luxury affair. Large tents with ensuite bucket showers and toilets. A lounge area, a bigger staff and a more varied menu.
